The surprising alternative to meditation that works every time

Like most of us, I want to live a calm and peaceful life. One activity everyone points to in order to achieve this outcome is meditation.

 

Except – I suck at meditation.

 

For a long time, I tried hard to become a good meditator. I tried many variations, some more successful than others, but never reaped the desired benefits. I always thought I had to practice more to finally get it. Until I found my unique way to clear my mind – and it works every time – no practice needed.

 

Walking.

 

Taking a brisk walk multiple times a day works magic for me. My body gets a workout and has something to do, and I can focus my mind on whatever is up for me or enjoy my surroundings. At the end of my walk, I feel clear and energised.
